If You’re a Veteran, November Is the Month to Buy a New Car.

If a new car is in your future, November is the month to buy, assuming you’re a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces.  Most, if not all manufacturers will increase their rebates for veterans throughout the month of November.  Those with more stringent rules about their military discounts, tend to be less rigid.  For example, Chrysler usually expands the qualification year-round “Active, 20 years of service and retired, or 100% disabled” to pretty much anyone with a DD214 that says “honorable” on it.  Additionally, many dealers will tack on another $500 themselves.

Remember that higher rebates mean better equity which often results in lower interest rates and always means a lower payment.  Bottom line: If you’re a veteran in the market for a new car, it’s a great time to pull the trigger!
